Every client I train with is different; each requires varying levels of input, motivation, education and training. With a customised training programme suited to your needs and capabilities, I can work with you one-on-one to and together, we can reach your goals.
I offer a mobile training service, so training can be at home, outdoors, or in a gym environment. I provide all the necessary equipment, which I incorporate and utilise in my training sessions. And don't worry, I won't allow you to become bored or get stuck in your exercising ways!
I have a diverse client base, working with a range of people on an ongoing basis - each with different goals and reasons for exercising. Some of those goals I'm currently helping them achieve are:

The key to my success is using 21st century functional training methods. A functional training exercise program is based on functional tasks directed towards everyday life activities, and includes a number of different elements - all of which can be adapted to suit an individual.

In September 2013 I made the decision to try and lose some weight. I joined a gym and employed the services of Richard Williams of Scorpion Training as my personal trainer.
At the time I weighed 116kg (18 stone 4lbs), had exceptionally high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes controlled with medication. Within 7 months I have dropped my weight to 95kg (14 stone 13lbs), my blood pressure has come down to acceptable levels and have no further need for the diabetes medication.
All this would not have been possible without the help and motivation I get from Richard. I have learnt how to eat healthily but also maintain my fairly social lifestyle. Obviously the journey has had its ups and downs but I still managed to maintain my weight loss through the December festive period and also with breaks away with the family.
I thought, as many people do, that the gym was all about eating nothing and jumping on the treadmill or bike to lose the weight. What I have learned with Richard is that the image I had could not have been further from the truth. I would never have thought that by training with weights would have such a dramatic effect and make the exercise sessions so enjoyable but still hard work.
Richard also runs boot camps through Scorpion training and these are an excellent addition to my gym sessions. The equipment he utilises makes them fun and never boring but also hard work.
Looking back I never dreamt that nearing 43 I would be able to get into the shape I am in today. I feel that as one part of my journey is finishing another part is just beginning. Having proved that I can lose the weight I am now looking forward to not only losing some more weight but trying to add back some muscle and definition to my body.
